David Stein, CPA is the sole owner and practicing CPA of DAS. David graduated from the University of Maryland in 1982 and earned his CPA license later that year. After spending four years with Grant Thornton International in the small business department, David joined Barshop, Barshop & Stein, P.A., a local CPA firm in 1986 and worked there until 1994 when he moved out of Fells Point, Baltimore to start David Stein & Associates, CPA, P.A., with a subsequent name change to David A. Stein, CPA, P.A.

Besides working as a practicing CPA, David has taught seminars for over twenty-five years on how to establish a small business at local vocational schools and has also taught previously for the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
